About Faye Le Cren:


 

Faye Le Cren is a director of eTime, an education consultancy company based in Christchurch providing services to schools throughout New Zealand. eTime won the Champion Canterbury Award for excellence in professional service in 2006. As well as being an eTime director, Faye specialises in assisting school leaders to implement changes that enhance learning outcomes for students. She is highly respected for her curriculum knowledge and leadership skills within a primary school environment. Not only has she been a successful leader and change manager, she is also a successful coach, mentor and facilitator to principals and senior managers involved in leading change.


Faye has been the principal of four primary schools and is recognised nationally as an innovative educational leader. Her leadership has resulted in several awards.

As founding principal of Selwyn Ridge Primary School, the school was runner-up in the 1999 Goodman Fielder School of the year. This was within 18 months of the school opening.


In 2002 she was named as an Apple Distinguished Educator. As principal of Elmwood Normal School she won the 2002 TUANZ Innovation award for Education by establishing 'Kids Congress'.

She was the founding director of the Centre of Digital Excellence at the Auckland College of Education in 2003.
